Created in 1961 by voters with the purpose of providing water for domestic, commercial, municipal and firefighting purposes, Scotts Valley Water District delivers water to about 10,700 people through 4,200 service connections. The district covers about six square miles and includes most of the incorporated area of Scotts Valley and a portion of the unincorporated area north of the city. Some subdivisions and mobile home parks within the city limits are served by San Lorenzo Valley Water District.
The Board meets monthly on the second Thursday at 6 p.m. The public is welcome to attend via remote access.
