King City Rotary Club is a chapter of the larger Rotary Club International, and exists to support various causes and organizations throughout King City and its neighboring regions.
Rotary International is a community service organization that operates through local branches all over the US. The King City chapter is one example of a local organization making a big difference. The members of King City Rotary Club meet every Wednesday and plan various community service projects and financial gifts for other groups throughout the city. Their motto is “service above self.”
As a nonpolitical and nonreligious organization, the club does not discriminate and assists with all sorts of causes. A recent list of groups helped by King City Rotary include the following:
This is just a partial list, as the club supports dozens of organizations each year. King City Rotary members also participate in the city’s Fourth of July celebration and Old Timers Day, and they also volunteer at food banks and senior centers.
