VOLUNTEER DONATE

Native Animal Rescue is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to the care of injured, sick, and orphaned wildlife in Santa Cruz. NAR’s rehabilitators are trained to diagnose, treat, and return animals back to the wild.

NAR protects wildlife by teaching people to respect wild animals and understand the benefits of coexisting with them. Funds collected are used to treat and heal wildlife in distress. Between 1,400 to 1,800 animals are received annually; many make full recoveries and are released back into nature.
