The Medical Society works collaboratively with local, regional, state and federal agencies to improve the quality of health services and the well-being of the community through better science.
The Santa Cruz County Medical Association and the Monterey County Medical Society both have been supporting physicians and patients for more than a century as part of the larger California Medical Association,
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the society created resources for patients to stay engaged and informed. It also created Project PPE to advocate for the health and safety of all by developing sustainable equipment for essential workers that provides high-quality protection.
