The Placer County Supervisors approved appropriation of funds and the execution of a contract for the completion of a North Tahoe Regional Trails System Strategic and Fiscal Analysis.

Now that candidate filing periods have ended and the November ballot is taking shape, voters will consider candidates for local school and recreation boards.

Many locals and visitors revel in hiking the region’s peaks, swimming in its many lakes, mountain biking on the trails and recreating anywhere and at any time we want. Placer County acquired 430 acres for conservation with the grants
