Primo Santini was appointed to the PCWA Board of Directors in June 2013 to fill the unexpired term of retired director Alex Ferreira. Santini represents District 2, which includes the City of Lincoln, parts of the City of Rocklin and unincorporated Placer County agricultural and rural communities. He is a third-generation “Lincolnite” and a graduate of Lincoln schools and Stanford University. Since 1984, he has been an owner of Cornerstone Associates Insurance Services, located in downtown Lincoln. Prior to his appointment to the PCWA Board, Santini served on the Lincoln City Council (2000-2008). He also was the chair of the committee responsible for the update of Lincoln’s General Plan, adopted by the council in 2008.

On the week of March 31, Placer County Water Agency debuted its first all-digital annual report online. This new microsite is housed on the agency’s PCWA.net website and offers a transparent look at the agency’s operations, finances, and community impact. The website is visited by thousands of customers each month, so this change will improve accessibility and public awareness.

The Placer County Water Agency Board of Directors received an update during its March 20 meeting on the ongoing efforts to address water supply challenges caused by damage to PG&E's Lake Spaulding Powerhouses and its impact on water deliveries.
Placer County Water Agency (PCWA) announced that Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) has halted water releases from Lake Spaulding to facilitate ongoing infrastructure repairs. As a result, water reductions for PCWA customers in 2025 are expected to match those implemented last year.
