City of Citrus Heights City Council Councilmembers Jeannie Bruins

Jeannie Bruins was elected to the City Council in 2002, and has successfully run four times since then. She has been a resident of Citrus Heights for more than 30 years and has used her passion for community to establish various programs in the city, including a community garden and the Citrus Heights Children and Youth Center. Bruins is the owner of Bruins Legal Document Preparation and serves as executive director of the Sacramento Association of Health Underwriters. She serves on the Valley Springs Presbyterian Church Board of Trustees and volunteers with adults with special needs and children's programs.
