Councilmember Bret Daniels has been on the City Council since 2016. As a former law enforcement officer, he has always been a strong advocate for the Citrus Heights Police Department. He also serves as a security guard at his church. Bret is a founding member and president of Badges Supporting Fallen Officers' Families, a nonprofit charitable organization that provides immediate financial support to the survivors of law enforcement officers killed throughout the nation. Daniels is also a founding member, former president and current board member of Toys for the Troops’ Kids, a non-profit charitable organization that provides toys to the kids of military service members during Christmas.
