The Rancho Cordova Police Department exists to provide security, order, and safety to all Rancho Cordova residents. It is headed up by Chief of Police Brandon M. Luke, who took over in October after Kate Adams retired. Prior to his appointment, Luke logged 28 years of law enforcement experience with the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office and other law enforcement agencies.
