The Monterey Bay Economic Partnership, a nonprofit membership organization which consists of public and private businesses, educational institutions, and other non-profits, aims to improve the region’s economy and quality of life by creating new jobs and business opportunities.

Drawn from some 80 organizations from across the area, members try to find policy solutions to five critical issues: climate change, housing, technology, transportation, and workforce development.

MBEP offers resources on unemployment, housing, small-business grants and loans, undocumented residents, and COVID-19 vaccination information. The organization also hosts an annual economic and climate change summit, as well as other events throughout the year, including career and apprenticeship workshops, election forums, housing fairs, and happy hours.
