The Stockton Port District, also known as the Port of Stockton, moves cargo to and from 55 different countries around the world. Products come anywhere from Turkey to Australia as well as domestic cargo. The port implements plans and programs to identify environmental impacts from port operations and promotes community engaement and education. The programs include measures to reduce emissions, protect habitat and improve water quality.
Commissioners meet in Commission Board Meeting Room at the Port of Stockton, 2201 W Washington St, Stockton. Public speakers can sign up to address the board, and are limited to three minutes speaking time per agenda item.
