Rebecca Eisenberg won the District 7 seat on the Valley Water board in the November 2022 general election. She has 30 years of experience as a Silicon Valley attorney, social activist and entrepreneur. She was an early employee at PayPal, Trulia and Reddit. Eisenberg majored in decision science at Stanford University and attended Harvard Law School.
Eisenberg operates a small investment fund called Netskink Positive Impact Investments. Through the fund she supports nonprofit public interest organizations that further the UN’s 17 Global Goals of Sustainable Development. She also operates a boutique law firm, Private Client Legal Services, focusing on employment agreements and other transactions that involve private company stock.
She represents District 7, which encompasses the cities of Palo Alto, Mountain View, Los Altos, Monte Sereno, the towns of Los Altos Hills and Los Gatos, parts of South San Jose and the unincorporated community of Redwood Estates.
