All active members of the U.S. Armed Forces are eligible to join the American Legion, as well as anyone who served at least one day of duty since Dec. 7, 1941, and was honorably discharged.
The Santa Cruz chapter of the American Legion meets on Saturdays at 10:00 AM at the Veterans Memorial Building at 846 Front St.
