The Tres Pueblos post of the VFW fosters camaraderie among veterans of overseas conflicts in Santa Cruz County, and serves veterans, the military, and the community.

Membership in the VFW requires specific eligibility criteria. Those who have received a campaign medal for overseas service; have served 30 consecutive or 60 non-consecutive days in Korea; or have ever received hostile fire or imminent danger pay are eligible to join the ranks.
