POST protects open space along the San Francisco Peninsula, the Santa Cruz Mountains and the South Bay.

This accredited land trust and 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization is funded by the support of private individuals and foundations. Since 1977, it has protected more than 80,000 acres of lands for hiking and recreation trails, wildlife habitats, redwood trees and local farms.
