California Certified Organic Farmers champions organic agriculture for a healthy world, providing a wide array of cost-effective certification programs that support the growth of organic farming through education and grants.
Founded more than 40 years ago, CCOF has spread across North America and is governed by local community members who grow healthy organic food. There are a variety of ways CCOF stays engaged in organic agriculture, such as connecting its members, supporting the organic movement, and creating exciting local events. The group believes that organic standards “promote and enhance biodiversity, biological cycles, and soil fertility, and restore, maintain, and enhance ecological harmony.”
