St. Francis Catholic Kitchen provides food, clothing, shelter and new opportunities for those in need. It operates two programs: a soup kitchen and a transitional shelter program.

For a quarter-century, the Kitchen has provided meals to the hungry, serving more than 180 people per day. With an estimated 400 people without homes in Santa Cruz, the Kitchen serves as a safe place where those in need are welcomed with food and an opportunity to rest. On Monday, Wednesday and Friday, clothing such as shirts, pants, socks, and outerwear are distributed.
