VOLUNTEER

Watsonville Film Festival is a multicultural film festival of Monterey Bay with a mission to share films that inspire and engage the community, empower local youth, and promote economic and cultural development.

The film festival was first started when filmmakers, educators and activists came together to showcase their film talents and interests. With that idea in mind, the team partnered with organizations, businesses and individuals to feature short and feature-length films. Due to the pandemic, the festival was cancelled, however the organization found an alternative way to present its films in a safe manner. It offers free online film screenings and live discussion with filmmakers via Zoom.
