Operated by the city of Santa Cruz, the Teen Center is located at the Louden Nelson Community Center, a multi-generational and multi-use facility. It has been closed during the pandemic; check hours before visiting.

The nonprofit group Friends of Parks and Recreation has allocated funds for partial scholarships for limited-income families. Interested city residents may pick up scholarship request forms at the Parks and Recreation Office, 323 Church St. 

The Teen Center is always seeking motivated, creative and energetic individuals ages 19 and up to serve as mentors. Individuals skilled in the arts, community service projects, skill building, cultural enrichment, sports and computers are especially welcome.
