On May Day, UCSC Students Establish Gaza Solidarity Encampment
Today, students at UC Santa Cruz marched for International Workers' Day and then established a Gaza solidarity encampment at Quarry Plaza.

Members of this group are all volunteers, all renters. According to its Facebook page, “We are not a nonprofit, or a business, or an electoral campaign. We welcome tenants of all identities and backgrounds to join us. If you are having a problem with your housing situation, we want to help. If you don’t, we want your help. Give us a call and we can work together.”
