VOLUNTEER

Watsonville Film Festival is a multicultural cinematic project with a mission to share films that inspire and engage the community, empower local youth, and promote economic and cultural development.

The festival was first started when filmmakers, educators and activists came together to showcase their talents and interests. The team partnered with organizations, businesses and individuals to screen short and feature-length films. The festival was cancelled during the pandemic; however, the organization found an alternative way to present its films in a safe manner with online screenings and discussion with filmmakers via Zoom.
