Serving Monterey, San Benito, Santa Clara and Santa Cruz counties, San Andreas Regional Center is subsidized by the State of California to serve people with developmental disabilities.
Among the many offerings are diagnostic and preventative services related to developmental disabilities, such as amniocentesis, chorionic villus screening or genetic screening for pregnant women; chromosomal studies, and genetic counseling. San Andreas Regional Center also offers the prevention program Early Start, which works with local education agenices to serve infants at risk for developing disabilities.
