The City of Davis is pleased to announce that Mercedes Ibáñez was selected as the City’s sixth poet laureate on Sept. 17 (ratified by Council) and will be formally inducted as poet laureate during the City Council meeting on Oct. 15. Her term will run from October 2024 through September 2027.
