City of Winters Climate Action Council

The Climate Action Commission acts as an advisory body to the Winters City Council related to the implementation of the city’s Climate Action Plan. The commission helps develop and implement public information programs that increase awareness of climate impacts, such as creating a speakers’ bureau and disseminating public information. The commission supports staff on various projects by conducting research, preparing reports, and developing recommendations. Members also prepare an annual work plan for council consideration.
