EVENT:   Open Garden at Loomis Demonstration Garden

The Loomis Demonstration Garden is a living classroom for the Placer County community that emphasizes sustainable gardening, integrated pest management and backyard food production. On Open Loomis Demonstration Garden Days, the 2nd Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. to noon, the Placer County master gardeners will be on hand to answer questions. At 10:30 a.m. this month, inside the library, they will present a one-hour workshop on "Starting Your Summer Vegetable Garden." No registration required.
