NorCal Gift From the Heart Foundation’s second annual Valentine’s Day Drive is underway, preparing to shower patients and their families with handmade Valentines and hundreds of toys and teen items on Feb. 14.

Deeply involved in ongoing service to the community, the Soroptimist International of South Lake Tahoe (SISLT) sponsored Bread & Broth's Monday Meal on January 13th. With their mission of enhancing the lives of women and youth in their community, they invited members of the South Tahoe High School's S-Club to represent the organization at their Adopt A Day of Nourishment sponsorship meal.

Back in August, the Folsom Chapter of National Charity league Inc. (NCL) held their annual Fall Kick Off Meeting. The local chapter of the national mother-daughter volunteer organization had over 200 members in attendance. The group is composed of mothers and their daughters, grades 7 to 12, from the surrounding communities and they are taking applications now for more members.

During 2024, Heavenly Mountain Resort hosted six Bread & Broth Adopt A Day of Nourishments thanks to Vail's Epic Promise Grant. The Vail grant funds are awarded annually to non-profits in the communities where Vail Resorts are located, and Bread & Broth has been the grateful recipient of Vail funds to host 12 Monday Meals annually since 2011.
