Willamette Wineworks is keeping the tunes alive with its weekly live music series, welcoming a unique acoustic blues duo to the Historic Folsom venue this Saturday evening. Chicken & Dumpling, featuring Charles āChickenā Oriel on guitar and Julia āDumplingā Simon on bass, promises an engaging performance from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Since itās an election year. I vote for turkey. Thatās my number one choice for Thanksgiving dinner. Me and 88 percent of Americans made the same choice, resulting in 46 million turkeys, making it by far, the biggest turkey day of the year. The story goes that turkey for Thanksgiving dinner became tradition in 1796 when the first cookbook in America was released.
