Friends of El Dorado Trail is a group of local advocates working cooperatively to complete a corridor from Sacramento to Lake Tahoe through El Dorado County.
When finished, the El Dorado Trail will extend from the western El Dorado County line to the Lake Tahoe Basin. Some segments are already completed with Class I bicycle paths; others are in development, open for use as a natural trail, or proposed for improvement.
