Volunteers for Lake Tahoe Wildlife Care rescue, rehab and release orphaned and injured wildlife.
Since 1978, the organization has released thousands of animals back into the wild. Locals who find animals in need can call for assistance. Animal lovers can volunteer or donate to Lake Tahoe Wildlife Care, a 501(c)(3) organization. The group’s website also offers tips on coexisting with native wildlife and webcams of animals under its care.
