Women in Solid Waste & Recycling is a nonprofit networking and professional development organization for all women in the solid-waste and recycling industry.
WISR was founded by Rachel Oster and Erin Merrill to give women the tools and support to become successful leaders in the industry. The organization’s mission is to diversify the decision makers in the waste and recycling industry by empowering women to take on leadership roles through networking, professional development, and training.
