The West Slope Foundation helps El Dorado County’s Western Slope prepare for disaster before it happens.
The West Slope Foundation was instrumental in helping residents recover and build back from the Caldor Fire, and the organization continues to work on this restoration effort while also providing invaluable disaster preparedness resources to the Western Slope residents and businesses of El Dorado County. Lastly, it provides aid during the response and recovery stages of a disaster or declared emergency.

Since its inception, the West Slope Foundation has held 32 survivor events, raised more than $742,000 in financial and in-kind donations, and has 282 households enrolled in assistance programs. The majority of these numbers encompass disaster relief from the Caldor Fire, but foundation continues to be present and ready for other needs and situations as well.
