George Osborne is the longest-serving member of the EID board, having started his service in 2001. He worked over 40 years as a firefighter with the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (Cal Fire). He has served as EID’s president and vice president multiple times, and also has served as president of the Placerville Rotary Club. He lives with his wife in Camino.
