A self-described “living field guide to the California Central Coast,” the Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History has been teaching visitors about Monterey Bay ecosystems since 1883.

The Museum Foundation of Pacific Grove operates the museum through a public-private partnership with the city of Pacific Grove. It provides scientific and historical learning for more than 50,000 people each year through exhibitions, education programs, and community events.
