The Planning Department is the first stop for citizens who want to start new businesses, build an ADU, or get answers to any questions regarding the use or zoning of their properties.

Staff members administer the city’s general plan and zoning ordinance and review development applications. They also provide support to the citizens who serve on the Planning Commission and the Board of Architectural Review.
