The Public Works Department consists of different divisions. The Engineering Division, located at City Hall (440 Harcourt Ave), plans and manages future improvements to the city's infrastructure and monitors existing systems.
The Maintenance & Utilities Divisions build and maintain public facilities and rights-of-way. Workers are responsible for streets, traffic signals, signage, and street sweeping; the Seaside County Sanitation District and the Seaside Municipal Water System; and maintenance of city-owned facilities, parks, open space, and vehicles.
