Sand City contracts with the City of Monterey to utilize its Fire Department staff and resources. As a result, the first responding fire station for Sand City is Monterey Fire Department Station #3, located at 401 Dela Vina in Monterey. Fire Department hours are from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. The office is closed on weekends and holidays.
