City of Sand City City Council Councilmember Kim Cruz

Kim Cruz was elected to the City Council of Sand City in the Nov. 3, 2020, election and was sworn in on Dec. 15. In December 2022, personal circumstances prevented her from attending City Council meetings, and on March 21, 2023, interim city attorney Adam Lindgren issued a memorandum that the council would declare her seat vacant and select an appointee to fill it within 45 days. “Cruz has had a tremendously positive impact on City residents and staff during her tenure with the City,” Lindgren wrote.
