Del Rey Oaks operates under the council-manager form of government. The city manager is responsible to the City Council for the proper administration of all municipal affairs coming under the office’s jurisdiction. The manager implements the council’s policies and priorities, advises the council on methods of responding, encourages programs to bolster the local economy and protect local government revenues, and provides overall organizational leadership.
The city manager provides a broad range of administrative, managerial, and financial services. The staff provides information and leadership that ensures quality municipal services are provided to residents.
This office also houses the city clerk, deputy city clerk, city treasurer and city clerk.
