The City Council is composed of five elected officials. Councilmembers are elected to staggered four-year terms, and the mayor is elected for a two-year term. The council meets monthly. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the public can only attend these meetings virtually; otherwise, they take place in the Charlie Benson Memorial Hall at Del Rey Oaks City Hall. Meetings can be viewed on the city’s YouTube channel; visit the Meetings page for links to the videos.

Meetings: Held the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m.
