Gonzales Youth Council Members Announced


Fresh on the heels of the City of Gonzales receiving the 2022 Helen Putnam Award for Excellence for the Gonzales Youth Council’s Mental Health Service Action Project, the city announced the appointment of 19 youths to the 2022-2023 Gonzales Youth Council.

Gonzales councilmembers and planning commissioners held a workshop review of the Puente del Monte housing development, which includes about 2,623 dwelling units. Another meeting is planned before the end of August to get more feedback.

Equal Access Monterey Bay aims to bring broadband internet to some 250 residents of the San Jerardo farmworkers co-op in Salinas. Working together on the project are Monterey Bay Economic Partnership and internet service provider Cruzio Internet.
