High Sierra Music Festival | Dave Vann 
The legendary High Sierra Music Festival has announced its return for a 33rd year from July 3 to 6, 2025. The quintessential, intimate 4-day camping and music festival experience will take place in its long-standing home of 25 years at the Plumas-Sierra County Fairgrounds in Quincy, Calif., according to a press release. High Sierra will once again gather musicians, artists and performers, with music lovers, outdoor adventure and wellness seekers, as well as festival fashionistas.

The High Sierra Music Festival has weathered numerous obstacles, from a pandemic, to changing industry dynamics, to recent inflation, to the death of its founder and talent buyer Roy Carter earlier this year. Co-producer David “Dave” Margulies, who has a long history in the music world on the artist discovery side, now steps into the role of producer and curator of the event, according to the release.
Known for its vibrant, eclectic blend of music, steeped in post Grateful Dead jam bands, bluegrass, funk, Americana, singer-songwriters, international music and more. RENO, Nev. – Ultra-low fare carrier Frontier Airlines is returning to Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO) next year with the launch of nonstop service to Denver International Airport (DEN) and Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas (LAS). Both routes will operate three times per week beginning March 7, 2025.

Ever since the election a couple of weeks ago, it seems like everyone has an opinion on the economy and the stock market. The gallbladder is a small, grape sized, organ attached to the digestive tract. It secretes a fluid called bile into it in response to a meal. Bile emulsifies dietary fats by increasing their exposure to digestive enzymes. However, sometimes gallstones form and cause problems. Gallstones affect up to 15% of the US population and are the predominant form of intestinal issues.

With El Dorado County election results nearly final, we sit with the recognition that Measure N did not pass. This election cycle was a hard one for progressive politics at every level, but the work continues. Stories and songs often proclaim that the holidays are one of the most joyful times of the year. In truth, they are also one of the hardest. There is an overwhelming amount of planning to be done, expectations to uphold traditions are high, and stress rises due to impending financial strain and possible family conflicts. It's hard to know what we can do to help others through the challenging holiday season.
