  1. Bear River Library

    This joint use library shares facilities between the Nevada County Community Library system and the Bear River High School.

  2. Condon Park

    80 acre park offers disc golf, BBQ, skatepark, baseball fields, basketball courts, fishing pond, playground, dog park, more.

  3. Crown Point Facility

    Located in Whispering Pines Business Park, Behavioral Health and Public Health Departments are housed here.

  4. Donner Memorial State Park

    Alpine park with summer camping, picnicking, boating, fishing, water-skiing, and hiking.

  5. Empire Mine State Historic Park

    Site of one of the oldest gold mines in California, there are 14 miles of hiking trails in addition to abandoned mine shafts.

  6. Grass Valley Library - Royce Branch

    This historic Carnegie library is listed in the National Register of Historic Places, and located in downtown Grass Valley.

  7. Madelyn Helling Library

    The Madelyn Helling Library is the main branch of the Nevada County Community Library system.

  8. Malakoff Diggins State Historic Park

    Offers hiking on 20 miles of trails, camping and fishing opportunities, and snowshoeing in winter. Visitor center and restrooms.

  9. Nevada County Fairgrounds

    Home to the annual Nevada County Fair and Draft Horse Classic, there is also a year-round RV park, lake, and rental facilities.

  10. Penn Valley Library

    The Penn Valley Library is the newest branch of the Nevada County Community Library system.

  11. Pioneer Park

    The park has baseball and softball fields, picnic areas with barbecues, playground, tennis and basketball courts, and a pool.

  12. South Yuba River State Park

    The park offers swimming, panning for gold, hiking on trails from easy to strenuous.

  13. Truckee Library

    Offers a variety of services including public WiFi, computer area, and a wide range of programming for both children and adults.
