This free program runs from January through May and encourages community participation and individual exploration.
Placer Land Trust and Trust for Public Land recently announced the protection of more than 1,500 acres of significant river canyon along Lake Clementine and the North Fork American River in the Sierra Nevada foothills.
There are more than 50 land preserves within Placer County and many are open to the public and provide a variety of options for hiking, picnics and enjoying time with family and friends outside.
