Jenine Windeshausen has served as Placer County Treasurer-Tax Collector since 1993, when she was asked by the Board of Supervisors to complete her predecessor’s term. She’s been reelected by the voters in every election since then. According to her LinkedIn page, Windeshausen has played a major role in the upgrade and maintenance of Placer County’s AA+ credit rating, making it one of the highest-rated counties in the state.
