Tristan Butcher was elected as treasurer-tax collector for Placer County in the June 2022 election, winning a four-year term that started in January 2023. He replaced retiring Treasurer-Tax Collector Jenine Windeshausen.
Butcher has more than eight years of experience in the Treasurer-Tax Collector’s Office, most recently as treasurer-tax manager. He has also been a small business owner and is a U.S. Army veteran, having served as military police.
He and his family live in Roseville.
