Before beginning his first term on the Stockton City Council, Brando Villapudua served on the city’s Planning Commission for two years as the at-large representative, appointed by Mayor Kevin Lincoln. In 2022, he won the District 5 seat after former Vice Mayor Fugazi was termed out.

Villapudua was administered the oath of office by his brother and a familiar face to most Stocktonians: California state Assemblymember Carlos Villapudua.

A Stockton local, Brando Villapudua has worked as vice president of sales at Diamond Transportation Logistic, according to his LinkedIn page. He aims to encourage a healthy and strong community and provide employment and business development opportunities. Also a dedicated father, he hopes to create a safe environment to raise families.

First elected: Nov 8, 2022
