Parks and Community Services Commission members establish rules and regulations governing recreation programs and park activities. Members hold public hearings on recreation programming and facility usage and review grants; they also advise the City Council on the subject of recreation and facility master planning and development. The commission is composed of five members; they must live within the Tracy city limits and not work as city officials or employees. Four members are appointed by councilmembers; the fifth is appointed by the Tracy School District. Terms are four years.
First Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 333 Civic Center Plaza, Tracy.
