The Planning Commission reviews all potential projects and developments proposed in Ripon’s city limits. The commission then makes recommendations to the Ripon City Council. This six-member group handles all zoning issues and reviews plans while considering city, state, and federal ordinances. Meetings are usually held monthy on the Monday following the Ripon City Council meeting. Meetings start at 6 p.m.; agendas are posted on the Thursday prior to the meeting. The live stream of the Planning Commission meeting can be found on the city’s YouTube site.
