259 N Wilma Ave, Ripon, CA 95366

The Ripon City Council is composed of five members who are elected at large to four-year terms. Three members are elected at one general election, and two members are elected at the next general election. The mayorship rotates among the councilmembers.

Every January, the mayor recommends assignments for individual councilmembers to serve on various commissions, boards, task forces, and committees, which are ratified by the City Council. These assignments give councilmembers the opportunity to serve with elected officials from other organizations as well as local residents.
