The commission advises the City Council on bicycle and pedestrian issues. Two categories of members are appointed by the council. Category One: Four members are bicyclists and pedestrians who live in Sunnyvale. Category Two: The other three members can be any of the following: school administrators, teachers, commute coordinators for major local employers, members of parent groups or neighborhood associations, or anyone interested in recreational activities.
Meets every third Thursday of the month in the Redwood Conference Room at City Hall, 456 W. Olive Ave., at 6:30 p.m.
